Rumor: Britney's "Slumber Party" Remix Drops This Wednesday!
Word on the street is Britney and Tinashe’s “Slumber Party” re-working hits the Internet on Wednesday.
When the pop princess kicked off the Glory era, it appeared she was aiming to release “Do You Wanna Come Over” as the “Make Me” followup, but immense pressure from the Britney Army to choose “Slumber Party” was heard loud and clear. Brit didn’t reveal it was the next official cut until she felt it was time to subdue persistent rumors about the music video shoot, confirming what fans speculated all along: it features a remix from the “SuperLove” crooner. If we’re to go by the latest rumor, and judging from the past in this particular instance we should, the “Slumber Party” remix will debut on Wednesday (Nov. 16).
Britney and Tinashe also filmed an Eyes Wide Shut-inspired music video alongside director Colin Tilley, who’s directed music videos for Justin Bieber (“All That Matters”), Fergie (“M.I.L.F. $”), Nicki Minaj (“Anaconda”), Cheryl Cole (“Crazy Stupid Love”), Rita Ora (“Body On Me”) and many more. It’s not clear whether the video will premiere on Wednesday or any time soon.
“It’s kind of a little risqué,” Britney said of the vid. “It’s sexy. It’s very moody.”
