Britney Confirms New "Glory" Song "Invitation"!

Britney Spears’ new album is an open invitation.

While fans continue wondering, speculating and imagining all the possibilities surrounding Brit’s Glory album release come August 26, the Queen is opening up about the new record.
In a new Q&A with Britney Galaxy, Britney confirms the album kick-off track is indeed titled “Invitation,” which was the first song posted on the leaked tracklist.
“Invitation is the first track that’s on the album, which I co-wrote with Julia Michaels, Justin Tranter, and Nick Monson,” she said. “It’s the perfect track to kick off Glory, and I can’t wait for you all to hear it!”
Brit gushes over her A&R rep for helping streamline the creative process for the record.
“I got to write and work with so many amazing people, some that I’ve wanted to work with for a long time, and some new up and comers that we’re going to see many more amazing things from in the future,” she continued.” Writing and recording this album was such an enjoyable experience, and I’m really grateful for that.”
Though she didn’t mention the original “Make Me” music video shot by David LaChapelle, Brit did touch on the official cut directed by Randee St. Nicolas. “The video was definitely very fun to make, and I’m really happy with it. One thing that is really great about this video is that it shows you not take everything so seriously… and that our lives, friendships, and careers should always be fun!”
Britney also touched on her Piece Of Me residency. She wouldn’t reveal what Glory songs will make the revised setlist, but there’s reason to believe “Make Me” and “Private Show” will.
Speaking of performing, Britney will take the stage at the upcoming iHeartRadio Music Festival next month. “It’s going to be amazing performing at such an incredible event in Vegas…which is my second home now,” Brit said, adding that she was excited for it. “The performance is still being planned, so if you all have any ideas for what you wanna see… let me know!”
The “Clumsy” singer also gave fans a peak inside her Instagram intentions.
“I post whatever feels right at that moment. It can be something inspirational, something funny, something beautiful, or just showing you all what’s going on in my career and life at that moment. Instagram is amazing because it lets all of those things come together in one place.”
Her parting words? A message for the Britney Army.
“My fans are incredible. They’re really what make the show so special. It’s amazing to see so many people all around the world all in one room together, having a good time.”
