Britney hasn’t had the best response about the covers she’s recorded over the years. Soon after recording “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction,” she found herself in an elevator with Mick Jagger from the Rolling Stones but didn’t recognize him. Bobby Brown wasn’t thrilled with her version of “My Prerogative” and she told a reporter she recorded “I Love Rock & Roll” because she loved Pat Benatar.
All water under the bridge, because the original writer and singer of “I Love Rock & Roll,” Alan Merrill, loves Britney’s version!
