Britney's Training HAM For Vegas

Britney’s gearing up for her Vegas residency later this year, and her personal trainer, Tony Martinez, says Britney’s feisty about workouts.
“We’re focusing on high-intensity intervals right now,” Martinez tells Life & Style of Britney’s gym work. “She wants to be ready for Vegas.”
In addition to interval training, Brit’s getting in at least three cardio sessions a week. That includes sprints, jumping rope, basketball drills and boxing. “She’s just dripping [in sweat] the whole time,” he says. “But she wants more! She is tough — and so competitive.”
But if you push her hard enough, she’ll give it right back. “She loves talking smack,” adds Martinez. “She’s a tremendous athlete.”
Britney has said of the strenuous Vegas shows, “To pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed,” and it looks like she’s taking it very seriously. No point in working out hard if your diet’s off, but Britney’s not fooling around – she’s following the Nutrisystem diet and doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week.
Throw in the dance rehearsals we’ve seen her attending and you’ve got quite a pop machine superstar!
