"Ooh La La" Debuts #22 On Billboard Pop Songs Chart
Britney continues to prove why she’s one of the biggest names in music, getting her second-highest debut on Billboard’s Mainstream Top40 chart, as “Ooh La La” debuts at No. 22.
She officially passed Mariah Carey with her 31st Mainstream Top 40 entry. Rihanna leads with 36.
“Audience reaction has been as expected thus far: Her fans react to everything she does,” saysErikBradley, assistant PD/music director of WBBM Chicago, which played “Ooh” 56 times last week (June 17-23). “Britney’s important to the format, and I really like the sound of the song.”Great job Britney, and keep on rockin (rockin) Britney Army!
